Lighthouse of Biarritz

  Erected in 1834, 73 meters above sea level and proud of its 248 steps, it dominates Cap Hainsart, so named formerly because of the oak trees that surrounded it and which have been replaced by tamarisk trees. This headland marks the boundary separating the sandy Landes coast from the rocky Basque coast. 2 tour options: - Free entry to the Lighthouse - Free access package Biarritz Lighthouse + Souvenir medal with the image of the Lighthouse (only available at the Biarritz tourist office).   Opening: July and August: Every day from 10am to 7pm September: From September 1st to 14th: from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Weekend: 27th and 28th from 1pm to 6pm October: Outside of school holidays: Saturday and Sunday from 2pm to 6pm (from October 25th, winter time change, closing at 5pm) School holidays: every afternoon from 2 pm to 6 pm (from October 25th, winter time change, closing at 5 pm) November: Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 5pm School holidays: every day from 2pm to 5pm December: Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 5pm School holidays: every day from 2pm to 5pm except closed on December 24, 25, 26, 27 and January 1 and 2) Last entry to the Lighthouse: 30 minutes before closing time.   Adult price: €5 / Child rate (4 to under 16 years): €3 / Child rate (up to 4 years): free In bad weather, the lighthouse may be closed for safety reasons. If in doubt, we advise you to check its opening status by calling 05 59 22 37 10 . Tickets valid for 6 months from the date of booking during opening hours. For safety reasons: Access to the top of the Lighthouse is limited to 10 people at a time. No elevator on the premises Site not accessible to people with reduced mobility. For all Lighthouse ticket bookings, enjoy a 5% discount at the Biarritz tourist office shop.       Group tours: The site is open for free access without guidance. 248 steps to discover a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Basque coast, the Pyrenees, and the Landes coast! Anglet cap glisse

Installée sur la plage Marinella, l'école de surf Anglet Cap Glisse fait découvrir et partager sa passion pour l'Océan en toute sécurité.Perfectionnement ou initiation au surf ou au bodyboard, les professeurs s'adaptent au niveau de chacun pour un enseignement personnalisé. D'avril à novembre, ils proposent des cours collectif pour enfants (6-15 ans ) et pour adultes. Il est également possible d'opter pour des cours particulier ou un stage complet, où l'on apprend à son rythme les mouvements permettant de surfer sur les vagues basques.
